History of the bottle
How it was born
Chianti wine, a centennial tradition of Tuscany, one of the symbols that distinguishes our land, here in Orzale comes from our oldest vineyard, the real "heart" of the farm.
Harvest period
The grapes of this vineyard are harvested by hand from mid-September until the beginning of October.
Vinification
The fermentation of the freshly harvested grapes takes place in steel tanks together with their skins as the tradition. The frequent wetting of the fermentation cap improves its color and flavour characteristics.
Average vineyard altitude
270m s.l.m.
Refinement
The refinement takes place in cement tanks for about a year and then in the bottle.
Type of land
Medium-textured hilly, silty-sandy.
Form of Farming
Tuscan bow, simple or double.
Tasting Notes
Intense ruby red, it expresses all the character of Sangiovese in harmony with the other grape varieties that compose it.
Pairing
It goes well with land dishes, in particular with rosted meat and hunting meat dishes.
